Railpower's technologies and products provide solutions to the economic and environmental challenges facing the transportation industry.

Railpower currently has 3 main product lines:

  • A family of 'multi-genset' yard and road switchers from 4 axles / 1,400 HP to 6 axles / 2,700 HP;
  • Dedicated yard switchers known as 'Green Goats';
  • Railpower has also developed hybrid power plants for cranes, based on its Green Goats locomotives. They are sold under the name 'Eco CraneTM'.

When compared to conventional products, our technologies allow our customers to substantially reduce operating costs, and at the same time significantly reduce harmful emissions.
