Railpower's Privacy Policy

By submitting to RailPower Technologies Corp. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “RailPower”) your resume, transcripts, or other documents containing personal information about you or others, including information provided in the course of any interviews or correspondence between you and RailPower, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of such personal information by RailPower:

(i) to assess whether to grant an interview to you or an offer of employment;

(ii) to contact references provided by you, including the collection of additional information from such references;

Although personal information is generally collected for the specific position for which you have applied, RailPower may use such information to consider your suitability for other positions at RailPower.

In respect of any personal information about other individuals that you have provided to us, you confirm your authority to consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of such personal information for the purposes listed above.

Personal information will be retained by RailPower as follows:

(i) in respect of personal information that is used by RailPower to make a decision regarding an individual who does not become a RailPower employee, the information will be retained for at least one year and will thereafter be retained or destroyed in accordance with RailPower’s Privacy Policy/Document Retention Policy/document retention practices; and

(ii) in respect of personal information that is used by RailPower to make a decision regarding an individual who does become a RailPower employee, the information will, in accordance with RailPower’s Employee Privacy Policy/Document Retention Policy/document retention practices, be retained during the term of employment and for a reasonable period of time thereafter.
